Volunteer Management Training (VMT) is a comprehensive training for volunteer managers.  The materials were written and compiled by the Points of Light Foundation.  VCB offers the training once a year in the fall.  The next training is tentatively scheduled for September 2007.

The topics include Introduction to Volunteerism, Starting a Volunteer Program, Recruitment and Placement, Training and Orienting, Supervising, and Evaluating a Volunteer Program.  Several speakers who could be considered local experts are invited to present the topics.
